Trentfield Farm in Church Laneham is a caravan and camping site, perched on the banks of the River Trent. Our idyllic location makes us perfect for a relaxing and peaceful holiday in Nottinghamshire. We are just a short drive from Sherwood Forest, Clumber Park & Sundown Adventureland.
We offer pitches for tents, caravans, motorhomes and VW campers. The park has flat-level grass pitches, optional electric hook up and 4-way pitches for groups. We welcome BBQs but not campfires and fire pits.
We have a of facilities at our park, including a modern amenity block as well as non-communal family washrooms, a recycling facility, and a large washing up area as well as a washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also a useful vending machine for milk etc.
Our park is a great base for exploring the local area. We are only a short stroll from two pubs; the Ferry Boat Inn is a 10-minute walk down the towpath, and in the village The Bee’s Knees serves award-winning ales and houses a renowned gin library. Both pubs also serve delicious food.
The local area has lots of walks to enjoy, including miles of river walks and cross-country/field footpaths. Alternatively, head to Doddington Hall, a Georgian property with a walled garden, gatehouse and family church. Further attractions to visit include:
Sundown Adventureland.
GO Ape!
Nottingham Caves.
Sherwood Forest & The Major Oak.
Newstead Abbey.
