Bircham Windmill is a great location for camping, caravans, motorhomes and even has two unique glamping experiences staying in one of our beautifully built, handcrafted shepherd huts.. We are set in an idyllic location, ideal for a rural break in the countryside.
The campsite has spacious pitches, all with optional electric hook up. There are three showers, 6 toilets and two washing up areas, plus washing machine, fridge and freezer for campers use, elsan disposal point and a games room.
The games room has a pool table and table football - both free of charge, plus TV and power points.
The shepherds huts each sleeps up to 2 people and 1 has extra space for a cot or single bed. Each has kettle, toaster, table and chairs, fridge, utensils and a pull out double bed with a sprung mattress and candle lamps for a night time atmosphere. Guests will need to bring their own sleeping bags however linen is available to hire at an additional charge. Both huts are warm and cosy with seating both inside & out and an outdoor cooking area.
The Norfolk Coast is an ideal location for a relaxing holiday and, should you feel more energetic the area offers plenty of beautiful beaches, walks and cycle routes. There are lovely towns for shopping such as Holt, Burnham Market, Wells and Sherringham and lots of local attractions in the area such as Pensthorpe, Sandringham and Houghton Hall to name a few. Superb pubs and cafes for afternoon teas and pub meals and of course Bircham Windmill literally on your doorstep, with tearooms, bakery and mill museum, bake your own bread, climb the mill and enjoy the grounds.
