King's Lynn Caravan and Camping Park is set in approximately ten acres of beautiful mature parkland, the site is situated on the edge of the village of North Runcton, one mile from the Hardwick roundabout where the A47, A10, A149 and A17 meet.
Situated in a prime position for touring Norfolk and the Fens, which are both areas of outstanding natural beauty, it is also the nearest campsite to the historic port and market town of King's Lynn.
We have rally fields to accommodate clubs, groups etc. We provide folders with tourist information on local attractions and places to visit and essential info to make your steward's life easy. Fish and chips can be delivered to the site, there are 3 places to eat that will cater for groups within a mile of the site and we are open all year. A choice of halls/meeting places area available for hire. Beer Warehouse will do guided tours/talks, Caithness Crystal does tours, Walpole Water gardens Art courses and guided walking tours of Kings Lynn by the arrangement of the tourist office are just a few of the group activities that can be arranged locally.
We have 8 camping pods available for hire. Ideal for those who love the great outdoors but like a few home comforts. In addition to basic Pod fittings of curtains, blinds, lights, an electric heater and sockets, our pods are equipped with a double bed and sofa bed so they can comfortably accommodate 4 adults. A television, small fridge, microwave and a kettle are also provided. All you need to do is arrive with your own bedding and cooking equipment. There is a picnic bench and barbecue area in close proximity to each pod. The pods are situated in their own area and are close to the main facility block which has toilets, showers, laundry with dryer, indoor and outdoor washing up areas, disabled shower/toilet and a family bathroom. There is also a small shop on site that sells basic supplies. Available all year round, the pods offer the answer to those of you who wish to camp in comfort and warmth throughout the year.
Holiday Lodges - Three bedroom eco-lodge, with one double bedroom with a large en suite shower room and two twin bedrooms. A separate bathroom with a bath. The open plan kitchen/dining room is fully equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine/ tumble dryer, fridge freezer, electric oven and hob, microwave. The lounge has a 40" wall-mounted television and a wall-mounted fire. The lodge is heated with Dimplex smart rad radiators. There is an outside decking area. Bedding is provided. Please bring your own bed linen and towels or hire it from us. Dogs are allowed.
Fishing, golf, riding, bowling and clay pigeon shooting are a few of the sports available locally. Stock car and speedway meets are held just over one mile away at the Norfolk Arena.
Nearby attractions include Caithness Crystal, the UK's biggest beer warehouse, quaint villages built of local flint, the Norfolk coastline, RSPB and many nature reserves, numerous National Trust and English Heritage properties, local markets, historic buildings and beautiful scenery. For the children, there is a Butterfly and Falconry Park, Sealife Centre, Rare breeds farm as well as the seaside. There is a choice of excellent local pubs and restaurants offering real ale and good food, also a good Oriental restaurant within a mile of the site. Pizza Hut, McDonald's and also a Tesco 24 hour store just over a mile away.
