Mad Hatters Campsite consists of five acres of wildflower fields and a beautiful pond, with a Mad Hatter's theme incorporated throughout the campsite at Ely, in Cambridgeshire. the tent pitches and glamping are all located with windy paths.
There are 19 pitches for caravans, motorhomes, folding caravans, and 21 tent pitches some of which have electric hook up. Each pitch has its own unique Mad Hatter's inspired name and the shower block has large shower rooms with plenty of space and hooks. Some of the pitches have pitch parking but otherwise we provide wheelbarrows.
Our glamping cabin - The Queen of Hearts is a luxury retreat for a couple. There is a king size bed, log burner and private ensuite. The cabin is available to book all year round.
We also have three timber tents which offer a glamping option too. The King of Hearts sleeps up to 4 people in 1 double and 2 single beds, the Mad Hatter can be either a couples tent or a family tent with 1 double and 2 single beds and Timber Tent Caterpillar, our largest tent, can sleep up to 5 people in 1 double bed, 2 single beds and 1 single sofa bed.
There are a number of grass pitches available for wild camping in a remote setting although you can still get access to the wash facilities. These pitches also have a firepit and fabulous views over Ely Cathedral and the fens beyond.
If you don't have your own tent, you are welcome to hire one and this will be erected ready for your arrival and includes airbeds.

There is fishing available in the river but you do require a license.
Locally, there is a lovely pub about 2.5 miles away and there is plenty to see and do in the area including:

Linton Zoo.
Wicken Fen National Trust.
