Outback Jacks opened originally in the West of Ireland in mid-2014 by Derek and Maureen Walsh, offering a family-owned outdoors shop for people who love outdoor gear and active sportswear, including hiking accessories, large air family tents & adventure tents, camping accessories, wetsuits, watersports & Helly Hansen workwear.
We are nestled on the edge of Galway City and have a free car park, offering easy access from the end of the M6 motorway from Dublin or M18 from Shannon or Limerick. Our spacious car park offers plenty of room to turn your campervan or trailer tent around.
The newly fitted shop offers 2,500 sq/ft of space to explore. From trekking around the picturesque trails of Camino, Via Francigena in Italy or the gorgeous Westport Greenway in Mayo, with offer an array of fantastic outdoor wear to suit all your needs. We also offer supplies for running enthusiasts, ship or shore sailors, surfers, diver paddle boarders and much more.
For a magical campfire by the woods, we provide camping supplies from Vango, Coleman, Campingaz, Trangia, Silva and small to large tents from Vango to cater for a range of sizes.
