Red Kite Yurts are located near Callander, within the Trossachs National Park. Our handcrafted yurts are available to hire and to buy and provide wonderful venues and Glamorous Camping accommodation.
We design new, bespoke yurts for your personal requirements. You can choose from a range of fantastic options and styles with a range of colours, straight or steam bent roof poles. You can choose to have clear PVC windows and crown caps, door finish and hand made Oak latches and wool felt lining.
Yurts can be assembled on permanent platforms, furnished with cosy interiors and wood-burning stoves to create a comfortable and luxurious place for holidaymakers to enjoy the outdoors. Wood burning stoves heat the yurts fantastically and many of the yurts are used all year round. In the past, yurts have been bought as therapy spaces, youth projects for educational workshop spaces, Safari and Adventure Parks who use them for children’s birthday parties and educational presentations.
We now offer Sauna yurts. These wonderful yurts can comfortably seat 6 people. They include a toasty Finnish log burning stove to get the temperature soaring into the 90s even on chillier days. We double cover the yurts with fire and rot retardant, and waterproof canvas which sandwich Kyrgyz felt to ensure they are well insulated.
