Situated on the mountainside just outside the historic town of Blaenau Ffestiniog, Llechwedd Glamping offers a unique retreat amidst the striking Moelwynion mountains and remnants of the area's rich quarrying history.
Our cosy, well-equipped glamping tents provide the perfect base for your next adventure, with panoramic views of the historic slate quarries, Zip World and the Eryri (Snowdonia) mountains.
Each tent features a private deck with stunning views of the quarry, Zip World and Snowdonia’s rugged landscape. Inside, you'll stay warm and cosy with a wood-burning stove and enjoy modern conveniences like a microwave, fridge, freezer and sink. We also provide BBQ and pizza kits and each tent has its own bathroom with a power shower and fresh towels. Free Wi-Fi is available in every tent for your convenience.
You’re welcome to bring up to two dogs, just ensure they’re well-behaved and cleaned up after during your stay.
Please note that the tents are situated on a short but steep hill with parking available below. We’re happy to assist with luggage during check-in and check-out, but you'll need to walk up and down the hill during your stay.
A short drive away, Snowdon awaits, offering both scenic views and adventurous hikes. Explore Blaenau Ffestiniog’s mix of outdoor excitement and rich history, whether mountain biking at Antur Stiniog, flying through the air at Zip World, or exploring the slate caverns. Don’t miss the serene Cwmorthin Lake and the Snowdonia Slate Trail, perfect for soaking in the area’s natural beauty and heritage.
