Cae Lal near Bangor offers boutique camping and glamping facilities in a gorgeous setting, offering the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature. Our picturesque site in Gwynedd is nestled in unspoilt landscape and the perfect place to escape from the pressures of modern life.
Our eco site is great for a romantic getaway or family holiday in a glorious location, with the majestic Snowdonia mountains as a backdrop. This tranquil site feels totally secluded and is a haven for nature lovers, with an abundance of wildlife, including frogs, wetland birds and badgers.
We have 18 non-electric pitches in the meadow, set in a secluded field. We provide wheelbarrows for luggage and tents and there is lots of space between the pitches for space and privacy. Each pitch has an area for small campfires and barbeques. Pitches are also available in the lawn and is ideal for families, with the communal area nearby.
You can enjoy a touch of luxury in our fabulous glamping options. You can choose from bell tents and cabins, perfect for those that don’t fancy the traditional camping experience. The 4-meter bell tent offers relaxed camping with your own comforts, with the tent set up for your arrival. Inside there are camping chairs, mats and fairy lights.
Awel Fwyn offers boho-luxury in an off-grid setting, styled with peaceful furnishings for a memorable holiday. The 5 bell tent includes a double bed, bedside tables, indoor and outdoor chairs and a table, lanterns, fairy lights, blankets and cushions and complementary Welsh nibbles.
Caban Marta is a charming cabin that enjoys spectacular views of Snowdonia. This stylish cabin has been built out of mostly reclaimed and recycled materials and boasts a private patio, great for a glass of wine whilst savouring the setting. Our second cabin, Caban y Gors, is great for a romantic getaway. Offering rustic luxury, the cabin even includes a kettle and toaster made from 100% plant-based plastic! Nearby is the boutique washing facilities.
Onsite facilities include a stylish washroom with showers, loos and washrooms. There is also a washing up area and you can unwind in the communal area, home to teas, coffee, dairy and non-dairy milk, a charger for phones, fridge-freezer and outdoor area. Barbeque grills for the fire bowls are available to hire. Children can enjoy the play area and four large picnic tables are scattered around the site.
We're in a great location to explore the area, including Anglesey's stunning coastline and Snowdonia is on our doorstep. Only few minutes away in Bangor there are lots of places to eat, including the Blue Sky, Kyffin Café and a fantastic Italian restaurant by the Bangor Pier. And you're only 3-minutes drive from a retail park and supermarkets. Brilliant attractions to visit include:
