The Shepherd’s Hideaway offers luxury glamping accommodation in a beautiful part of Wales. With 5 different glamping options available, guests have a choice of where to stay when visiting our glamping site in Denbighshire. We are in a peaceful location, just a short drive from St Asaph.

The Shire Hut
The shepherd's hut boasts a beautiful Victorian cast iron bed as a standout feature, offering a snug and romantic sleeping experience without the hassle of converting seating areas. The spacious wet room measures 8 x 4.6 feet and includes a shower with both fixed rose and handheld options, complemented by a vintage-style flush toilet and sink. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas cooker, grill, 3-ring hob, small fridge, and Belfast sink. Heating options include a charming wood-burning stove and electric radiators in the main living area and wet room. Additional amenities include a wall-mounted TV and DVD player for relaxation and entertainment.

The Clydesdale Hut
The Clydesdale Hut is a standout among shepherd's huts, offering unparalleled luxury and comfort. This spacious hut features a cosy living area with leather armchairs around a wood-burning stove, alongside an electric radiator. The highlight is a beautiful 4-foot-wide Victorian cast iron bed, eliminating the need to convert seating areas. The fully equipped kitchen includes a gas cooker, grill, 3-ring hob, small fridge and Belfast sink. Entertainment options include a wall-mounted TV, DVD player and a selection of DVDs. A luxurious bathroom awaits through an oak door, complete with a double-ended slipper bath, heated towel rail and scenic views from a low window, a true haven of relaxation.

The Gypsy
The Gypsy shepherd's hut exudes warmth and comfort with delightful features. Relax in two cosy armchairs around a small wood-burning stove, with all fuel provided, and an electric radiator for added warmth in the living area. The hut boasts a spacious and inviting bed, eliminating the need to convert seating, perfect for long lie-ins or lounging during the day. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas cooker, grill, 3-ring hob, small fridge-freezer, and Belfast sink. Enjoy entertainment with a wall-mounted TV, DVD player, and a selection of DVDs. Through an oak door, discover a luxurious bathroom featuring a walk-in wet room, adding a touch of indulgence to your stay.

The Suffolk
The Suffolk shepherd's hut, originally a railway wagon, offers a unique retreat for railway enthusiasts. Relax in two comfortable armchairs by large feature doors with floor-to-ceiling windows, ideal for enjoying views, reading, or simply contemplating the surroundings. The living area includes a powerful electric radiator for chilly nights. A luxurious 4ft 6in Victorian cast iron bed ensures a hassle-free evening setup, perfect for restful nights or lounging during the day. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas cooker, grill, 3-ring hob, small fridge-freezer and Belfast sink. Enjoy entertainment with a wall-mounted TV and DVD player. At the other end of the hut, a door leads to a walk-in wet room with a large headed shower, offering ample water pressure for unwinding after exploring North Wales' mountains, beaches, or coffee shops.

The Shetland
Inside this shepherd's hut you will be met by two comfy armchairs facing a small wood-burning stove, there is a warm and cosy atmosphere with all fuel included. The living area features an electric radiator in winter and a towel radiator in the wet room. The 4ft wide bed is free-standing, eliminating the need to convert seating for bedtime. For a wider bed (4ft 6in), consider the Gypsy, Suffolk, or Shire huts. The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas cooker, grill, 3-ring hob, small fridge-freezer, Belfast sink and toaster. Entertainment includes a wall-mounted TV and DVD player, with DVDs available in the park's craft/gift shop. At the other end of the hut, an oak door opens to a luxurious walk-in wet room with a flush toilet, sink and shower.

All of the glamping accommodation has its own fenced off area so your dogs can roam free.

There are many walks from the doorstep with river walks not far away where you may see kingfishers, sparrowhawks and buzzards. A wide variety of bird life will visit the hut’s bird feeding station, with the woodpeckers visiting most days!
