Glynmarch Farm offers a peaceful camping experience in a tranquil hideaway, surrounded by stunning Carmarthenshire landscapes, making it an ideal base to explore the region. With just 15 spacious pitches spread across a 2-acre wildflower meadow and breathtaking views up two valleys, the site provides plenty of opportunities to relax and unwind. An additional 12 acres lead down to the River Marlais, where you can light a fire, listen to the soothing sounds of the water, or take a refreshing dip in one of the deeper pools.
Facilities include a composting toilet, a flushing toilet, two free hot showers and a covered washing-up area with two sinks. For rainy days, a covered barn offers table tennis, board games and free solar-powered Quick-Charge 3.0 USB phone charging points.
The nearby village of Llansawel, less than a mile away, has two welcoming pubs serving evening meals. Within a short drive, you'll find a range of attractions, including the historic Dolaucothi Gold Mines, the biking trails and walking paths of Brechfa Forest and the majestic landscapes of Bannau Brycheiniog and the Cambrian Mountains' Llyn Brianne lake. History enthusiasts can visit Dinefwr Castle or Carreg Cennen Castle, while nature lovers will enjoy the National Botanic Garden of Wales, known for its iconic glass dome.
Although Glynmarch Farm is not a traditional beach destination, Aberaeron's coastal charm is just 40 minutes to the west, while the sandy shores of Tenby are about an hour and 10 minutes to the southwest. Whether you’re seeking outdoor adventures, cultural discoveries, or quiet relaxation, Glynmarch Farm offers something for everyone.
