Tyn Rhos Camping Site is a well established family site in Trearddur Bay just 3 miles from the port town of Holyhead, Anglesey. Set in natural surroundings with its marvellous distant views of the Snowdonia range. The campsite has clean and well-kept facilities ie toilets, hot and cold water, and showers at a small fee. Some adaptions for disabled users – access statement on request. Sinks for washing your dishes. Chemical disposal point etc. Separate rally field (organised camps etc, available to book). Electric hook ups. Booking is advisable.
We have a small shop for your provisions, sweets, chocolate, ice cream or maybe a little souvenir. Tyn Rhos has plenty of open space for children to play (bank holidays being the exception!) or maybe take your dog on a walk. All dogs must be on a leash at all times.
Most popular local interests, safe bathing on Trearddur Bay’s blue flag beach, surfing, canoeing, kayaking, diving, fishing, go carting, horse riding, climbing, bird watching, golf (9/18 hole). Also visit the south stack lighthouse, all within 10 minutes. From the lone camper to couples and families alike. Maybe venture out to visit one of the many castles, market towns, narrow gague railways. Perhaps you’d like to spend an evening relaxing in one of Trearddur bays pubs/inns.
Whether it's a summer holiday or a short break here on Anglesey I’m sure with its many attractions there is something for everyone. You may want to tackle Angleseys 125 miles of coastal path which starts/finishes at St Cybi church in the centre of Holyhead town, a 5 minute walk from the ferry port.
