Description

Moorhouse Farm in Holford offers camping, touring & glamping near Bridgwater, at the foot of the Quantock Hills in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

We have large, level well drained pitches for both caravans and tents. Some pitches come with electric hook ups. Facilities include a heated toilet and shower block and laundry room. The dedicated camping field for tents has its own toilet block and washing up facilities. Guests also have use of a picnic area with a BBQ pavilion and fridge. We cater for families and have a climbing area and pirate ship with sand. Perfect for children to have endless fun on.

Our glamping pods offer that added bit of luxury compared to traditional camping. Each pod sleeps 3 to 4 people and comes with lighting, a microwave, kettle and heating.

The Quantock Hills are great for walking, mountain biking and horse riding, with a huge network of footpaths, tracks and bridleways. You will see many species of animals, birds, flowers, herds of Quantock Ponies and the famous Quantock red deer. There are spectacular views over the Bristol Channel to Wales, Exmoor to the west and the Blackdown Hills and the Vale of Taunton to the south.

There are local beaches a short distance from the site at Kilve, Lilstock and Dunster. Dunster Castle, Minehead, Exmoor, the West Somerset Steam Railway, Cheddar Gorge, the Mendip Hills and Weston-super-Mare are all within easy reach. The county town of Taunton is half an hour away.
