Situated in a gently sloping valley on the edge of the Mendip Hills in Somerset, Woodlands Caravan Park offers an adult-only serene getaway just a stone’s throw from the historic City of Wells, Britain’s smallest city. Surrounded by stunning countryside, our site provides the perfect base for exploring the beauty and charm of Somerset.
Our campsite features well-spaced pitches, all with breathtaking views. Facilities include a covered service area with fresh water points, grey waste disposal, chemical waste disposal and WC/shower amenities. An additional fresh water standpipe is conveniently located on the opposite side of the field. Guests can enjoy an onsite dog walking area, electric hook-up and wireless broadband for a seamless stay. No open fires please.
There are EV charging points within a mile of the park.

Woodlands is ideally situated near the amenities of the City of Wells and the charming towns of Glastonbury, Cheddar and Shepton Mallet. This central location makes it easy to explore the many world-famous attractions in the area, including Wookey Hole Caves, Cheddar Gorge, Glastonbury Tor, Glastonbury Abbey and Wells Cathedral. For those willing to venture a little farther, the coastal towns of Weston-Super-Mare, Burnham-On-Sea and Clevedon are within easy reach, offering classic seaside fun and the chance for a refreshing paddle. Nature lovers will find plenty to explore with countless walking trails and quiet country lanes. From rugged footpaths along the Mendip Hills offering panoramic views to the tranquil flatlands of the Somerset Levels, the area offers an abundance of outdoor adventures and stunning scenery.
