Barley Hill Pod near Chard offer a magnificent glamping experience on the edge of Blackdown Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Based in a peaceful and tranquil location, we are perfect for an idyllic holiday in Somerset.
Our lovely pod is nestled in a private field, perfect for peace and seclusion. Onsite you can also see an abundance of magical birdlife, including Woodpeckers and Kingfishers. An enclosed duck pond is also opposite. Surrounding the pod are lots of gorgeous oak trees and lush barley fields.
Inside the cosy pod is a well-equipped kitchen for home dining, including an oven, hob, microwave, toaster and kettle. A corner sofa and solid oak bar with stools are also available, plus a flat screen TV. Enjoy a restful night’s sleep on the double bed, whilst the en suite bathroom has a hot shower, basin, flushing toilet and a warm towel rail.
A lovely outside terrace area comes with seating and a BBQ for al fresco dining whilst admiring the views. Soak away your troubles in the luxurious hot tub.
The beautiful Jurassic Coastline is easily accessed along with a variety of attractions such as the Fleet Air Arm Museum, National Trust houses and Gardens, Exmoor, Dartmoor and the Quantock Hills.
