Wells Touring Park is a long established family owned restful touring park, in the heart of the beautiful Somerset countryside. Our tranquil parks, adults only touring Caravan Park offers a relaxed atmosphere and a warm friendly welcome. Wells is a beautiful city with its spectacular cathedral and Bishops Palace. It is also an ideal base for visiting the village of Wookey Hole with its magical caves and mill, Cheddar Gorge & Caves, Bath, Bristol, Weston-Super-Mare, Glastonbury, Street and the Somerset Levels.
Our touring park is exclusively for adults (over 18) purely to offer a relaxed atmosphere. Our aim is to offer peace, tranquillity and relaxation throughout your stay. Socialise in a child-free park, no bikes racing around the pitches or ball playing whilst you read your morning paper! Wells Touring Park customers are mostly parents, grandparents and professionals who care for children much of their time but enjoy quality time to themselves in a friendly atmosphere.
We are an award-winning touring park and have a selection of pitches available. Each pitch is accessed from tarmac roadways with park lighting and a red British phone box for your book exchange. Onsite our facilities include generous space for showering and plentiful hot water at no extra cost. Additional features include covered washing up area, freezer, launderette machines and ironing board. Touring pitches are all-weather hard standing with electric hook up. An optional full service pitch adds the convenience of individual freshwater tap and grey water drain.
Our luxury facilities are graded 5 Platinum Pennants by AA Campsites while the park’s personal facilities have been rated by “Loo of the Year”. We have a fully equipped wet room, disabled suite with a radar lock.
For those who prefer more homely luxuries we also have self catering holiday cottages and lodges available.
With a multitude of tourist attractions and leisure activities on its doorstep, you are perfectly located. For the more athletic the Mendip Hills offer the walker and cyclist miles of minor roads and countryside to explore. After an energetic day, you can freshen up in the spacious facility block with the added comfort of underfloor heating. Great for those winter visits!
