Rodney Stoke Caravan and Camping Park provides an ideal retreat for those seeking a peaceful, adult-only experience in a small, 26-pitch campsite situated at the base of the Mendip Hills, between Cheddar and the historic Cathedral City of Wells.
Our park features both hard-standing and grass touring pitches designed for year-round use, ensuring no concerns about water-logged awnings. All pitches are equipped with electric hook-ups for your convenience. We warmly welcome furry companions with our dog-friendly accommodations, ensuring your holiday feels complete.
Safety and comfort are our priorities, with an on-site warden dedicated to your security. Our recently upgraded utilities include a modern shower block with separate facilities for ladies and gents, central heating, token-operated showers, hairdryers, individual toilet cubicles and separate wash basins. Additionally, a communal utility area provides amenities such as a washing-up area, washing machine and fridge/freezer for added convenience.
At Rodney Stoke, we aim to provide a relaxing and enjoyable stay amidst the picturesque landscapes of Somerset, catering to all your touring and camping needs with inclusive water and electric facilities.
Located less than three miles from the famous Cheddar Gorge and Caves, our park offers easy access to cliff-top walks, caving adventures, rock climbing, and the Museum of Prehistory. The Gorge itself, reaching 400 feet deep and spanning three miles, stands as one of Britain's most stunning natural landmarks, with some cave areas dating back over half a million years.
For outdoor enthusiasts, there's an array of activities nearby, including fishing, golfing, horse riding, sailing and cycling. Adjacent to our park, the Rodney Stoke Inn and the nearby Cider Barn offer delightful dining options, serving sourdough pizzas, bar snacks, and a fine selection of West Country ales and ciders.
