Campwell Woods near Marshfield offers off grid glamping, perfect for a rural retreat. Our beautiful, handcrafted eco-village is set in a gorgeous wild wooded valley near Bath in South Gloucestershire.
We have a haven for outdoor lovers looking to reconnect with nature. You can choose to stay in our array of wonderful glamping options, including handcrafted yurts, log cabins and cob roundhouses. All our guests share the hot showers, composting toilets, kitchens, dining tables and shelters. We also have a fabulous woodland sauna to unwind in which seats up to 10 people. In total, our glamping options sleep up to 22 people, great for groups looking for somewhere special to stay.
Chief’s Den – Sleeps 2-5: This outstanding space offers a touch more luxurious, with the 3 adjoining yurts nestled on a private sun deck. Inside there is a spacious living space and a kitchen with a wood-fired cast iron stove and oven, wood burners and a private bathroom.
Village – Sleeps 17: You can enjoy exclusive use of the village including all yurts, 2 log cabins, a cob roundhouse and the shepherd’s hut.
Tay’s Shepherds Hut – Sleeps 2: Our charming hut sleeps up to 2 people, great for a romantic getaway. The hut is set in a small hill to take advantage of the views and includes a cosy double bed and outside fire pit and chiminea.
Yurtis – Sleeps 3: This delightful yurt has a long window and rooflight, offering plenty of light and amazing views of the valley and skies. You can relax on the decking area and huddle around the firepit whilst gazing at the starry night sky.
Yurtup – Sleeps: Our fantastic yet is based above the main path through the village and includes a double bed, wood burner and fabulous roof light for stargazing.
Hairy Cabin - Sleeps 2: This superb cabin includes a double bed, toasty wood burning stove and a decking area with a firepit. The cabin is accessed via a unique wooden staircase from the track.
Waney Cabin – Sleeps 2: Our quirky cabin is perched to the side of the hill, accessed via a small staircase to reach the decking area. Inside there is a double bed and wood burner, whilst outside there is a firepit.
Yurtdown – Sleeps 3: This traditional yurt is set in a deck which seamlessly blends into the trees. Facilities include a wood burning stove and low double bed.
Cob Round – Sleeps 2: Our lovely roundhouse is nestled at the far end of the end and includes a double bed and a stove, plus 2 decking areas to relax on whilst savouring your surroundings.
Only a 5-minute drive away is a wonderful local farm shop. You can also enjoy an abundance of scenic walking and cycling routes in the area. Further attractions to visit include:
