Bagwell Farm is a family-run park set in tranquil Dorset countryside, close to the spectacular Jurassic coastline. With a variety of pitches available for tents, caravans, motorhomes and RVs including fully serviced hardstandings, there’s something for everyone. The park is just a short walk to the Fleet Lagoon nature reserve on the South West Coast Path, yet just 5 miles from the traditional seaside town of Weymouth, making Bagwell Farm the ideal base for exploring all Dorset has to offer.
Alongside a large dog-walking meadow and doggy shower, on-site facilities include spotless toilet and shower facilities plus accessible wet rooms and family bathrooms, as well as a newly updated laundry room with washing machines and tumble dryers. The onsite shop is open daily and offers groceries, toiletries, toys, souvenirs, camping and caravanning supplies including Calor gas, as well as a large range of local products.
The Red Barn bar and grill is open from Easter through to November and serves a large selection of freshly cooked meals including their signature steaks and beef dishes produced using beef from the family’s herd of pedigree Charolais cattle.
The nearest bus stop is less than half a mile away where you can catch the X53 Jurassic Coaster service, heading east to Weymouth or west to Axminster, stopping at towns and villages such as Abbotsbury, Bridport and Lyme Regis along the way.
The site also offers caravan storage and seasonal pitches, and has a separate field for caravan rallies.
Bagwell Farm Touring Park is a great base to explore the wonders of Dorset, from its world-renowned landscape and wildlife to magnificent family attractions. There’s something for everyone, whatever your interest, whatever your age.
