Situated on a hill and surrounded by woodland, Farrs Meadow offers stunning views of the Stour Valley. A short walk via footpath leads to the River Stour, perfect for swimming and fishing. The charming Vine pub in the picturesque thatched hamlet of Pamphill is just a stroll across the fields and Wimborne Town Centre, with its numerous facilities and attractions, is only a 15-minute walk away.
Farrs Meadow is primarily a tents-only site, ensuring a serene and nature-focused experience. However, we also offer some fully furnished yurts and a unique ‘Old Stable’ for those seeking a bit more comfort.
For a romantic getaway, consider staying in one of our hand-built Gypsy Wagons or Shepherds Huts, made in Dorset. They’re perfect for couples but can also accommodate two children.
To make your arrival easier, we can transport your camping gear up the hill to the Meadow for you.
Our campsite features eco-friendly loos and hot showers housed in repurposed horse boxes, making a simple shower an unexpectedly delightful experience.
Our campsite also lies on the Dorset Cyclists’ Network and a selection of great routes can be followed by those wishing to explore the area by bicycle. We can also arrange fly fishing on one of Dorset's finest and most private chalk streams, the River Allen, on the Deans Court's beat. Course fishing can be arranged on the River Stour, again on the private banks of Deans Court Estate.
