Heathfield Escapes is a smallholding that offers facilities for glampers, campers and tourers. This 24-acre site is made up of a paddock, bluebell wood and valley. Heathfield is in a rural location just a short way from the pretty village of Slapton. This is an ideal base for exploring nearby historic towns and Start Bay.
The Yurt provides accommodation for 4 people in a double bed and on a double futon. It also comes equipped with a wood burner, fridge, camping stove, water, electricity and a table. Outside are a private garden and decking area with a fire pit. For the yurts you will need beach towels, crockery, cutlery, cooking equipment, bedding and linen.
Crab Apple Paddock is a 2 berth caravan in a fenced paddock. There is plenty of space to pitch additional tents, park cars and you can shut the gate if you want to keep young children safely playing while you take it easy.
There are 5 level bases on the valley fields available for camping. There is also one site for a camper van with hook up.

Garden shed with a solar shower, basin and 2 toilets.
Washing area.
This area is popular with walkers, cyclists and birdwatchers. The Slapton Ley Nature Reserve and coastline are all within easy reach. Within a 20 minute drive are the historic towns of Dartmouth, Kingsbridge and Totnes.
There are many interesting attractions to visit such as Dartington Hall & Gardens, Dartmouth Steam Railway, Totnes Castle and Dartmouth Castle.
