Penhalt Farm Holiday Park can be found in the beautiful Cornish town of Widemouth Bay near Bude. Upon arrival at the park you will enjoy the clean fresh air, the open space and the stunning views of the Atlantic coastline and surrounding countryside.
The camping and caravanning park is situated on a working farm and is normally home to many nesting house martins and swallows. There is over 8 acres of land on the campsite which is perfect if you are staying in a tent or in a touring caravan & camper. We want you to enjoy a happy and carefree holiday whilst staying with us; this is why Penhalt Farm Holiday Park provides an excellent base from which to explore the South West.
Our shop supplies all general needs including Calor and Camping Gas and there are electric hook ups if required. There are two toilet blocks, one with a toilet for the disabled and a baby changing unit. Our brand new shower house also caters for the disabled.
The well equipped laundry room contains washing machines, tumble driers, ironing and washing up facilities. We also have a games room with pool tables and air hockey. Outside there is a children's play area, a table tennis table, basketball net and football posts in addition to a 'fort'.
Within less than an hour's drive there are many places of interest to visit including the pretty fishing village of Boscastle, the Launceston Steam Railway and the Legendary King Arthur's castle at Tintagel.
There are also several National Trust and English Heritage properties, gardens, nature trails, the Tamar Otter Park and the famous Coastal Footpath. For cyclists there are plenty of quiet country lanes and the breath taking Camel and Tarka Trails.
The unspoilt sandy beaches of the North Cornish Coast, reputedly amongst the best in the country, offer good surfing and other water sports and the main beaches are patrolled by lifeguards throughout the holiday season. Dogs are allowed year round on South Beach (Widemouth Bay), Summerleaze Beach (Bude), Duckpool, Sandy Mouth and Northcott Mouth.
On the North beach (Widemouth), Crooklets and Crackington Haven, dogs are not allowed from Easter to 1st October.
