The Ship & Anchor Campsite offers a delightful camping experience situated alongside the River Arun, conveniently located between Arundel and Littlehampton. We are within walking distance of Ford railway station and our campsite is licensed for camping and caravanning, plus it features a historic pub and restaurant dating back to 1664.
All are welcome at the Ship & Anchor campsite, whether arriving by tent, camper van, caravan, tent box, or boat. There are 120 pitches for tents or motorhomes and 24 hard standing electric pitches. We have 50 seasonal pitches available, please enquire if you are interested in one of those.
Our pub and restaurant warmly invite visitors to enjoy freshly prepared meals crafted by our skilled chefs, using locally sourced ingredients.
There is wifi available in the pub and we have a small food shop onsite selling basic provisions. A Tesco is nearby for more options.
The Ship & Anchor also has its own private slipway where you can launch your boat from and kayak hire is also available.
Located just 3 miles from the historic town of Arundel, renowned for its Norman castle and cathedral dating back to 1066, our site also lies 3 miles from Littlehampton, celebrated for its charming old harbour and sandy beaches popular since Queen Victoria's era. Both destinations are easily accessible by road, rail, or scenic walks and cycling along the picturesque banks of the River Arun.
Rates: From £11.50 - £14 per person per night.
Children are roughly half price.

Electric Vehicle charging is available for £10 and the cost is charged to your pitch.
