Our beautiful glamping accommodation is located in the heart of Woolton Farm, where our family has worked the land for over 100 years, producing award-winning wines, ciders and offering unique hospitality near Canterbury in Kent. Steeped in family history and fruit-growing tradition, our furnished bell tents are situated among the trees in our lovely gardens behind The Barn.
The Barn, a stunning thatched building made from Oak and Elm beams, dates back to the 14th century and sits within a large fruit garden. It features an outdoor kitchen, camping facilities, furnished bell tents and a craft drinks shop and bar. The Barn opens every weekend from April to September.
Our bell tents come furnished with a double futon, quilts and pillows, with additional camping mats available for children (please bring extra bedding for more than two people). Each tent sleeps 4 people (max 2 adults & 2 children per tent) and includes a power socket for phone charging and a lamp. Guests have access to on-site showers and toilets and are provided with a locker, portable power bank and torch upon arrival. Wi-Fi is available at The Barn.
For those who prefer traditional camping, Ellen's Meadow offers a peaceful spot to pitch your tent, just 200 yards from The Barn. Fires are permitted in braziers or BBQs, which can be rented along with logs and kindling. The meadow is equipped with toilets, hot showers and a washing-up shed with drinking water and sinks. Campers also have access to The Barn's facilities, including Wi-Fi, café, shop and bar.
As a boutique farm and vineyard, we produce award-winning wines and ciders. From April to September, we offer weekend wine and cider tours, providing an authentic behind-the-scenes experience from orchard to glass. For those with less time, tasting flights are available to enjoy on the spot or as a gift.
Our outdoor kitchen serves pizzas, salads, and sides, along with locally baked cakes and coffee. We cater to various dietary needs. While we don't take bookings for groups under 10, feel free to drop by, and we'll accommodate everyone as quickly as possible.
