Description

Our rural glamping site features four spacious, beautifully furnished Safari Lodges, each accommodating 6-8 guests, situated within two interlinking meadows. Located between Yarmouth and Freshwater in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), the lodges offer stunning views of the River Yar and surrounding countryside. While the setting provides tranquility and a connection to nature, it is just minutes from excellent restaurants, beautiful beaches, and a variety of holiday activities.

Each of our lodges features the same thoughtful layout, accommodating 6-8 people with three comfortable bedrooms for six and a sofa bed in the living area. They are equipped with modern comforts, including instant hot water, solar-powered lighting, a wood-burning stove with an oven and hotplate, a gas hob, an electric fridge, two flushing toilets and an outdoor shower. The highlight is a freestanding slipper bath, adding a touch of luxury to your stay. Guests can relax on the elevated deck with a swing chair or gather around the campfire at night to create lasting memories. Lanterns and fairy lights add a magical ambiance, while luxurious beds with soft linens and blankets ensure a cosy and restful sleep.

Designed to blend light and comfort, the lodges have multiple windows and wide glazed front doors, all equipped with privacy blinds. They are insulated from underneath and include an additional roof canopy for extra shelter.

While gently off-grid, each lodge is equipped with solar-powered lighting in every room and USB charging points in the living area, keeping you connected and comfortably out of the dark when used mindfully. All lodges now feature upgraded off-grid water boilers, providing instant hot water for added convenience, combining rustic charm with modern comfort.

Our glampsite is both pet and vehicle-free, with a private car park conveniently located nearby, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the peaceful surroundings.

Surrounded by footpaths such as the Freshwater Way and the Yarmouth-Freshwater Trail, the site is perfect for walkers looking to explore the area. Bridlepaths and cycle routes are also easily accessible, and our site uniquely offers direct access to the River Yar for canoeing and paddleboarding. The picturesque Yar estuary is an ideal and safe spot for paddleboarding, catering to beginners and experienced boarders alike.

We are the perfect base for exploring a range of excellent attractions in the area:

Compton Beach.
Golden Hill Fort.
Western Yar.
Yarmouth Harbour.
Colwell Bay.
