Ideal for families and first-time campers, Ashurst provides all the essential facilities to ensure a comfortable stay. Conveniently located within walking distance of local pubs, cafes and shops, it’s a great base for exploring the New Forest. Please note, dogs are not permitted on this site.
Barbecues are allowed but must be specifically designed for cooking, sturdy, and elevated off the forest floor to avoid damage. Disposable barbecues are not permitted, in line with the New Forest Action Plan and barbecues of any kind are prohibited outside the campsite.
For your safety and the protection of wildlife, please do not feed, pet, or approach the animals. While they may seem friendly, they are unpredictable and may bite or kick. Keep all food securely sealed and out of reach of the ponies.
Facilities at Ashurst include accessible amenities, a chemical disposal point, dishwashing stations, drinking water taps, electric razor sockets, laundry facilities, showers, toilets and washbasins. The site offers pitches for motorhomes, touring caravans, tents and trailer tents, with seasonal pitches available for extended stays.
