Longbeech Campsite offers a serene and natural campsite exclusively for adults, where the focus is entirely on the beauty of the surrounding environment. With no toilet or shower facilities, the campsite emphasises simplicity and connection with nature. Open clearings, ancient beechwoods, lush ferns and secluded spots provide a tranquil haven, while free-roaming New Forest ponies and deer add to the charm, making it a camper’s dream destination.
Unwind in this picturesque setting, enveloped by ancient beechwoods, and let the silence and natural beauty recharge your senses. The campsite’s open spaces and proximity to the New Forest’s many marked trails make it an ideal base for exploring the area on foot or by bike.
As a limited facility campsite, there are no showers or toilets, so it is essential to bring your own chemical toilet.
Barbecues are permitted but must be specifically designed for cooking, robust and raised off the ground to avoid damaging the forest floor. Disposable barbecues are not allowed, in line with the New Forest Action Plan, and barbecues of any kind are prohibited outside the campsite.
For everyone’s safety and the well-being of the wildlife, please avoid feeding, petting, or approaching the animals in and around the site. While they may appear friendly, they are wild and can bite or kick. Ensure that all food is securely sealed and out of reach of ponies.
Facilities at Longbeech include a chemical disposal point, drinking water taps and a total of 95 pitches for motorhomes, tents, trailer tents and touring caravans. The site is dog-friendly and offers seasonal pitches, providing a perfect escape for nature-loving campers seeking peace and solitude.
