At Woodlands Camping immerse yourself in the stunning Hampshire countryside with its beautiful walks, panoramic views and abundant tranquility, a perfect spot for those in search of peace and space.
Located on the northern edge of the South Downs National Park, just five miles south of Alresford village, our site features seasonal eco-friendly camping situated at the edge of a 200-acre woodland. We purposely limit the number of pitches available to ensure ample space for everyone, even during peak times.
We operate under a 'leave no trace' policy, encouraging guests to actively preserve the natural environment that surrounds us.
The Clearing
Naturally cleared by a storm some years ago, the clearing is accessed through the plantation and offers a beautiful, sheltered area of around an acre situated on the edge of ancient woodland. It features six camping pitches suitable for tents and small camper vans, each equipped with a picnic bench and fire pit. Additionally, BBQ tripods or frontier stoves are available for hire, with wood available for purchase on site. The clearing is ideal for exclusive group camping with friends and family or for private retreats and amenities include a water point, composting toilets and rustic seasonal showers.
The Meadow
Open seasonally, the meadow spans 5 acres of flat, open space without fixed pitches, allowing you to confidently book with friends and family knowing you can set up together exactly as you prefer. It's an ideal spot for children to roam freely and for spending leisurely afternoons under the sun, with a view of neighbouring horses in the paddock.
Bell Tents
Simplify your camping experience by selecting one of our ready-pitched bell tents. Whether you prefer a blank canvas to personalise as you wish or one fully furnished and equipped for a hassle-free holiday, we have options to suit your needs and preferences.
