Fernwood Glamping offers a peaceful countryside retreat in Ringwood, with lovely field views and a location close to the beautiful landscapes of New Forest. Perfect for a relaxing break in Hampshire, the site features a shepherd’s hut and a unique gypsy van, both set in attractive natural surroundings. Full of character and thoughtfully designed, these cosy retreats provide an ideal place for guests looking to unwind, enjoy the countryside and escape the pressures of modern life.
Shepherd's Hut
Our cosy shepherd’s hut enjoys field views and sleeps up to 2 people or a family of 4. Inside there is a bench seat that can be made into a five foot long bed for smaller children, a bunk bed, all with bed linen. Stay toasty in front of the wood burner after a busy day sightseeing. Facilities include towels and towelling robes, plus fairy lights and tea lights to create a tranquil atmosphere.
Outside there is seating, great for relaxing with a coffee in the morning sun. You can also huddle around the fire pit whilst gazing at the starry night sky. Guests also have use of a compost toilet near the house and an outdoor solar shower cubicle.
Gypsy Van
This quirky gypsy caravan is perfect for a memorable break in the New Forest. Wonderful features included fairy lights, a toasty wood Bruner and a small leaded window that takes advantage of the rural views. The caravan can sleep a family of 4, including a 4-foot-wide double bed and a small bed available for 2 children. Inside the are small seats to relax with a coffee, plus towels, mugs, glasses, wine glass and hot water bottles etc.
Outside there is an octagonal thatched summerhouse with decking, including a mini fridge, facilities for hot drinks and further seating. The van also has outdoor seating and use of a compost toilet near the house and an outdoor solar shower cubicle.
Visiting the Area
This part of the country has an abundance of countryside, perfect for walkers and cyclists. Visit the Blashford Lakes Wildlife Reserve or a enjoy a fascinating day out at the Owl Raptor and Reptile Centre. Attractions to visit include:
