Brocklands Farm is situated in the heart of the South Downs National Park, offering breathtaking views of Hampshire’s picturesque Meon Valley. Conveniently located within easy reach of London, it provides an idyllic retreat for a relaxing and memorable glamping holiday.
Set in a spacious, grassy field, the farm features two luxurious safari tents, each accommodating up to six guests. With every comfort thoughtfully provided, it’s the perfect place to unwind, soak in the serene beauty of the landscape and enjoy the tranquility of this remarkable setting.
Our spacious safari tents, Yellowhammer and Lapwing, are positioned at opposite ends of a charming grassy meadow. This arrangement ensures privacy, while still allowing a convenient stroll between the two tents if friends are staying nearby. Both tents are identical in size and similarly yet uniquely furnished. Each comfortably accommodates up to six people, featuring a king bedroom, a twin bedroom and a double cabin bed. Every bed is prepared with luxurious cotton linens and dual-tog duvets, ensuring a comfortable night’s sleep in any temperature. Each tent also includes a bathroom cabin equipped with a toilet, basin and a luxurious shower, all warmed by a wood burner. Eco-friendly toiletries, towels and other essentials are thoughtfully provided for your convenience.
At the heart of each tent is an off-grid living area centred around a wood-burning range, complete with a large hob top and a roomy oven for cooking. The glowing wood burner keeps the space warm and inviting, while solar-powered fairy lights and paraffin lamps ensure you’re never left in the dark. For added convenience, a gas ring is available for quickly brewing a cup of tea or preparing a meal without lighting the stove.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need, including crockery, cutlery and essential cooking utensils such as sharp knives. Everyday staples like oil, vinegar, tea, coffee and fresh herbs are provided, as well as practical items like cling film, tinfoil, tea towels and hand towels. Washing up essentials are also supplied, along with a small solar-powered fridge to keep your milk and wine perfectly chilled. Mains water is available, so there’s no need to bring bottled water.
Outside each tent, you’ll find a comfortable seating area with a sofa, chairs and a table, ideal for enjoying the stunning sunsets in style. For an authentic outdoor experience, a fire pit is provided for toasting marshmallows or barbecuing under the stars.
We also have a touring site available a fair distance from the glamping site. This offers 18 touring and motorhome pitches (no tents please). It is quite basic and relaxed and situated in a pretty valley with easy access to the village.
The farm offers so much to do – walking and cycling or simply watching the land being cultivated or the buzzards soaring over your head. The Meon Valley Trail, South Downs Way and Monarchs Way are all nearby. Or you can stroll to the picturesque village of West Meon with its pub, award-winning butcher, community shop and flourishing café.
