Major Bridge Park Camping & Caravan Site in Holme-on-Spalding-Moor offers camping and touring facilities in a glorious location. Our campsite near York in East Yorkshire is the perfect place to escape from the pressures of modern life.
Our family-run business is based in a gorgeous countryside setting, great for a tranquil getaway. The site is set back from the road and is very level, boasting glorious woodland and farmland views. There are lots of grass areas for children to roam free in and running through the site is the Market Weighton to Bubwith 'Rail Trail’, providing a stunning walking route.
We offer electric hook up for an additional price. The shower and toilets are spotless and free-range eggs are available.
You can also stay in our shepherd huts and roller vans, the perfect alternative to the traditional camping experience. Lorna Doone comes with a pull out double bed, pull out portable WC, 3 gas rings and grill, gas fridge, log burner and seating. Outside there is a gas outdoor fire pit and BBQ. Rat Abbey has a single bunk bed, a portable WC, 2 ring has a burner, wood burning stove, seating, outside fire pit and a BBQ.
We are in a fantastic position for exploring the area. The area has an abundance of scenic walking and cycling routes to enjoy. You can also head into the famous city of York and stroll through the bustling town centre and its independent shops. You can also stroll beside the ruins of the city walls or see York Minister. Great attractions to visit include:
