Chalky Downs Campsite in Brighton is perfect for campers looking for a stunning location. Situated within South Downs National Park n East Sussex, we are ideal for a relaxing and peaceful break away.
Our tranquil campsite in on a working arable farm. There’s acres of space for children to roam free or for groups to plot out their own pocket of the site. We have 32 pitches for tents and can provide 11 bell tents bases if required. Smaller campervans are also welcome.
We provide simple facilities for guests. There are 3 showers, 7 toilets and a communal washing up area. Campfires and BBQ’s are permitted. Firepits with starter kits and bag of logs can be hired for £12.
The farmhouse serves up delicious breakfast baps using local produce. Fresh orange juice, tea or coffee and vegan/vegetarian options are also available. Dinner for larger groups is available by prior arrangement.
A lengthy walk through the South Downs (England’s newest National Park) is certainly a must see attractions. The park offers a host of walks with stunning views. The nearest beach is only 2 miles away and the town centre of Brighton is just a short bus or taxi ride away. Visit the famous beach, Brighton Pier and British Airways i360 viewing tower. For football fans, the Brighton and Hove Albion American Express Stadium is within walking distance. A number of unforgettable days out are nearby:
