Applecross Campsite is located in the picturesque Mains of Applecross, adjacent to the farm and a mere 5-minute walk from the Visitor Centre, Pub and Bay area.
We offer ample space for sixty tents, motorhomes and touring caravans. During colder seasons, our heated camping huts provide affordable accommodation, while those seeking maximum comfort can opt for a luxury static caravan. Facilities include a fully functional hot water shower block, a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer, electric hook-up points and a payphone.
Our approach to camping emphasises natural beauty over manicured lawns and formal flower beds. Recently awarded the David Bellamy Gold Award for environmental management, we are committed to preserving wildlife habitats and encouraging native wildflowers to flourish in areas where camping is not permitted.
Located conveniently along the road descending towards the village from the mountain pass, our campsite offers stunning views of Scotland's largest island, Skye and its iconic Cuillin Mountains.
For caravan enthusiasts, we offer 6-berth models equipped with modern amenities such as central heating, double-glazing, TV, microwave, shower, gas cooker, fridge and crockery. Linen is provided in each caravan, though guests are kindly asked to bring their own towels.
Camping Huts at Applecross provide a cosy alternative to traditional camping or caravanning. These robust, fully insulated huts accommodate up to four adults and are equipped with mattresses, electric heating, lights and socket outlets.
Located on the stunning Applecross Peninsula in the Highlands of Scotland, our campsite offers true peace and tranquility by the shores of the Inner Sound. Surrounded by breathtaking scenery and abundant wildlife, Applecross serves as an ideal base for exploring the West Coast, including nearby attractions like the Isle of Skye, Lochcarron, Shieldaig, Torridon and Gairloch.
