Great Glen Yurts offers glamping accommodation in Fort William, Inverness-shire. We are situated on a lovely organic farm in the West Highlands and at the foot of the north face of Ben Nevis. Our glamping site is truly a haven for nature lovers.
Our yurts are elegantly furnished and come with a range of facilities to suit all your needs. Inside there is a comfortable double bed, fluffy feather duvets, pillows, sheepskin rugs, lanterns and candles. Double and single futon sofa beds are also available. A hot water thermos, coffee table and stools are provided. The Family Yurts sleep up to 4-5 people in double beds, bunk beds & sofa beds. The Sweetheart Yurts sleep up to two people or a small family/group in a double bed and a double futon.
Glamping accommodation is available in our brand new shepherds hut. Located near the river, the hut boasts glorious views of Ben Nevis. The hut sleeps up to 2 people in a double bed, ideal for a romantic break away. Inside there is a wood burning stove to keep you warm and toasty. Tables and chairs and lanterns are provided. Outside there is a lovely balcony area and a picnic table and BBQ. You can sit back, relax and savour the breathtaking view.
There is a purpose built communal kitchen which was created using trees grown from our farm. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a large dining table, sofas and a chimnea. You can also BBQ open air on our central firepit.
