North Rhinns Camping is a tranquil, rural, adults-only campsite situated in the picturesque hills of Stranraer. Located just 6 miles northwest of Stranraer and 2 miles from Leswalt village, which features a convenient local store, our campsite offers a serene and relaxing escape. Drawing on years of camping experience, we’ve created the kind of peaceful retreat we would love to visit, providing the perfect setting for adults seeking relaxation.
There are 7 pitches available for tents. Some pitches have hard standings or electric hook ups. We also have 3 camper vans.
Facilities onsite:
Facilities block with toilets, shower, electric sock, washing up sinks and small fridge/freezer.
Drinking water.
Campfire hearth for most pitch.
All tent pitches are thoughtfully designed with natural separations, either by trees or changes in ground level. Some offer open views across the fields, while others are within our tree belt, providing both wind shelter and a cosy hideaway feel.
We also have T1 and T2 Volkswagens – please enquire for details.
There are local amenities available 2 miles away. Travel slightly further and visit Stranraer which has plenty of shops and places to eat. The town's main attraction is the castle of St John. Other places to visit include Castle Kennedy Gardens, Logan Botanic Garden and Dunskey Castle.

Rates:
We do not charge a pitch fee for tents.
Adults £12.00 a night per person.
Electric Hook Up £6.00 per night.
Dogs (max: 2 x large or 3 small.) £3.00 a night per dog.
Extra vehicles per pitch £1.00 per night.
Drive away awnings and pup tents £3.00 per night.
Dogs must be on a lead at all times 3 small or 2 large dogs - please enquire.
Groups welcome by arrangement.
Fire pits on each pitch, logs £6.50 including kindling and fire lighters.
Open dates 1st March - 31st October
Showers and hot water for dishes etc is included are included in the price.
There are no hidden extras to pay.
Happy to take bikers.
