Shieling Holidays in Craignure offers camping and glamping facilities in a stunning location. Our campsite on the Isle of Mull boasts breathtaking views of the sea, mountain and over the Sound of Mull and Loch Linnhe. We are perfect for a memorable holiday in this beautiful part of Argyll.
Camping
Situated along a stunning shoreline with views stretching up Loch Linnhe to Ben Nevis, our family-friendly campsite offers a warm welcome for caravans, campervans, and tents. Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement and can enjoy walks along the beautiful coastline or nearby forestry trails. Our lower park features reception, main facilities and hard-standing pitches with optional hook-up, while the top field offers breathtaking views, astroturf tent pitches and Shieling tents. Astroturf pitches keep your tent dry and mud-free and we provide pegs and a mallet if needed. Some oversized pitches and those with electric hook-ups are limited, so early booking is advised. Cars are restricted on the top field for a peaceful environment, but drop-off points and nearby parking make access easy. Your stay includes access to our facilities, including showers, dishwashing, waste disposal and drying tents, ensuring a comfortable and memorable experience.
Sheiling Tent
Our Camping Shieling Tent offers a unique, self-contained, self-catering experience with en-suite facilities and a basic camping kitchen, allowing you to cook inside. Equipped with a smokeless fuel stove for warmth (fuel available at reception), this spacious, fireproof and bright tent provides the charm of camping with the comfort of a basic cottage. Inspired by Highland shepherds’ traditional summer dwellings, the Shieling Tent lets you connect with nature while enjoying modern conveniences like electric lighting and a socket for charging devices. Bedding is provided, including a duvet, pillow and wool blanket for each guest. Electric blankets can be hired for £2.50 per night if booked in advance. While the tent isn’t insulated, it’s perfect for experiencing the outdoors, just pack warm clothes for cooler weather!
Glamping Chalets
Our Glamping Chalets, perched on an elevated spot in the top field of Sheiling Holidays Mull, offer breathtaking panoramic sea views towards Oban, the Sound of Mull and Ben Nevis on clear days. Resembling canvas tents from the outside, these fully insulated, solid-built chalets are equipped like holiday cottages, featuring a double bedroom, twin bedroom and two occasional sofa beds to accommodate up to six guests. With a well-appointed kitchen, dining area, gas central heating, free WiFi, and digital TV, they provide all the comforts of home while letting you escape into nature. Bedding and towels are included for all guests.

Our campsite is within walking distance of the local pub and a hotel 1 mile away, available to use for and additional cost. Occasionally at the hotel there is entertainment and a pool is available to use for and additional cost. The ferry port is 400 yards away. Lots of attractions are nearby, including:

Tobermory Distillery.
Mull Museum.
MacKinnon's Cave.
Aros Park.
