Choose from a couple of bell tents, a cosy caravan or we have ample room for your own tent if preferred. Middle Ruckham offers campfires, compost toilets and a wood-fired bath or shower, making it the perfect setting for both intimate retreats and larger gatherings, including family groups. Enjoy fresh organic produce and visit the nearby pub with just a short walk. The woodland, fields, and streams serve as a natural playground for children, while the sun-drenched wildflower meadows continually inspire all visitors.
In addition to holiday breaks, we also are a retreat centre for horses and their owners. disperse the stresses of everyday life and treat yourself and your horse to a well-earned break here at Middle Ruckham. Get back to nature and enjoy the simple pleasures of life, immersed in beautiful natural surroundings. Chill out in our lovely bell tent or caravan whilst your horse enjoys the freedom of a natural environment, grazing peacefully in the adjacent meadow. A variety of healing treatments are on offer for your horse, whilst you take the opportunity to have a yoga or massage session or explore the local trails. Facilities include compost toilets and a wood-fired bath or shower, and fresh organic produce is available. The local pub is a short walk away.
Middle Ruckham eco farm is an Organic holding registered with the Soil Association, supplying a large variety of fresh salad leaves and herbs to local restaurants and markets. We grow medicinal plants for animal healing and have a large garden, giving us and our visitors a variety of vegetables and soft fruit. Our bees provide honey and beeswax for skincare products.
