Gorsebank Glamping is a luxury glamping park, situated on a picturesque farm in Dumfries & Galloway. Our park is nestled within 80 acres of beautiful woodland, meadow and pastures. Dalbeattie is a 5 minute drive from the park. We are an ideal base for those wanting to explore this beautiful part of Scotland and the stunning Solway coastline.
Our glamping accommodation consists of:
Posh pods: Our two posh pods with wood fired hot tubs are equipped with a kettle, small fridge, heater, lighting and spare power point. Comfy foam mattresses can be laid out on the floor with space to sleep up to 4. Outside is a sliding canopy with a wood fired hot tub, dining table and chairs plus a wood burning chimnea. Soak away the evening, relaxing in your hot tub.
Jumbo pods: Our two jumbo pods with optional wood fired hot tubs are located in secluded gorse copses. The pods are heated, have lights, power points, a kettle and a small fridge. You sleep on the carpeted floor on 2 x double pull-out foam chair/beds. Outside, you have a decking area, picnic table and fire pit.
Ridge pods: Our 2 Ridge Pods are located to give you great views of the site, farmland and neighbouring forest. Ideal for couples, however they will accommodate up to 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 younger children. Sleeping is on fold out foam chair/beds on the carpeted floor. Our Ridge Pods are equipped with a heater, kettle and small fridge. Complete with lights and power points, they have windows and a lockable door. Outside, there is a picnic table and a fire pit.
Wigwams: Our four Wigwams are located on a tree-lined bank near a duck pond and are our largest camping cabins, sleeping up to 5. During the day, you have benches and a coffee table which, at night, forms a sleeping deck with foam mattresses.
Timber tents: Our two timber tents are our smaller, basic camping cabins that accommodate 2 adults or 1 adult & 2 children, sleeping on the wooden floor (bring either an inflatable mattress or camping mats). They are extremely well insulated, have a double-glazed window and lockable door. They also have a power point, light & heater. Internally, the timber tents measure approx 9ft x 6ft and are over 6ft high. Outside, you have a picnic table and fire pit.
For those who want to stay in larger accommodation we have a pair of glamping bothies available. These have kitchenettes, lounge areas, log burning stoves and outside seating areas.
