Tobermory Campsite is conveniently located just 1.5 miles from Tobermory, with an easy 20 to 25-minute walk to the town centre. Offering a diverse range of accommodations, from tent pitches to Shepherd’s Huts and luxury holiday caravans, it stands as the sole campsite on the Isle of Mull in close proximity to Tobermory.
The campsite features two tent camping areas. The main area, nestled alongside the burn and shaded by majestic old trees, includes a shelter equipped with seating, a table, electric kettle and an information point. Electrical sockets are available for campers' use, allowing for charging phones and other devices, free of charge.
Our seven charming Shepherd's Huts accommodate two people per hut (with Holly Hut accommodating three—two adults and one child). Guests are required to bring their own sheets, duvets, or sleeping bags, along with pillows, dishwashing and cooking equipment, as bedding is not available for hire for the huts.
Additionally, we offer a selection of hireable caravans:
Each caravan is outfitted to a high standard, complete with adjacent parking. Bedding (sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases) is not included but can be hired at an additional cost of £10 per set. Guests need to inform us during booking if bedding is required.
For small campervans, we provide both hard-standing and grass pitches, with limited availability.
Tobermory itself offers a variety of amenities including pubs, restaurants, a Co-op supermarket, bakery, and Clydesdale Bank. It also serves as an excellent starting point for boat trips and wildlife excursions.
Additionally, a self-service launderette is accessible to the public in the new Harbour Association building in Tobermory, located within the main car park.
Our Caravan Park operates on a private spring with filtered and UV-treated water, ensuring that every tap in every caravan and outlet on the campsite delivers fully drinkable water.
