Haughton Holiday Park in Alford is a family-run business nestled in acres of gorgeous grounds, perfect for an idyllic getaway. We are based in a truly wonderful location in Aberdeenshire, boasting stunning views of the hills of Bennachie and onto the banks of the River Don.
Our amazing holiday park is set within acres of lush green grounds at Haughton Country Park and the adjoining Murray Park. We are ideal for a relaxing holiday in a gorgeous part of the country.
We have pitches for motorhomes, caravans and campervans, all of which are hard standing. Some pitches are also fully serviced. You can also pitch a tent in the charming walled garden which offers plenty of shelter and is ideal ground for secure tent pegs.
You can also s buy one of the luxurious holiday homes, offering the ultimate retreat throughout the year. In the future we will also offer holiday apartments which are currently under refurbishment.
Onsite facilities include:
• Reception and Tourist information.
• Site Shop fully stocked for your everyday needs, fresh bakery, general groceries, caravanning/camping equipment, gifts and souvenirs, gas.
• Farquharson’s Tearoom and Coffee Shop offering freshly made light snacks and home-baked treats opening in the New Year.
• Heated Toilet and Shower block with disabled facilities.
• Outside dishwashing facilities.
• New Laundry Facilities coming early Spring 2022.
• Pets are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times within the holiday park.
• Small Children’s play area (large play area nearby in Haughton Park).
• TV signal is not guaranteed and will depend on pitch and your own receiving equipment.
• 6 Holiday Flats – Accommodating from 2 – 8 people.
• 58 hard standing pitches for touring caravans/motorhome with 16 amp electric hook-up.
• Fully serviced hard standing pitches with 16 amp electric hook-up, water and grey water waste.
• 10 hook up pitches for tents.
• 30 grass pitches without hook up.
• 80 Holiday home stances available for private ownership.
• Seasonal Touring pitches 1st April – 21st October (please note there are no storage facilities).
This is a great area for picturesque walks, biking or golfing. The village has lots of shops, takeaways, and a Co-Op supermarket, plus The Haughton Arms hotel and Alford Bistro for great food. Brilliant attractions to visit include:
