Kinnego Marina, located on the southeast shore of Lough Neagh at the edge of the Oxford Island National Nature Reserve, offers a serene and picturesque setting with stunning views of the Lough. This purpose-built site accommodates caravans, motor homes, trailer tents, tents and glamping, making it ideal for a variety of visitors.
Open year-round, this family-friendly site provides access to a range of amenities, including a play park, outdoor gym, café, fishing area, weekend boat trips and a public slipway. Guests can also enjoy nature trails and the beautiful scenery of Kinnego Bay and Lough Neagh.
The marina has 19 fully serviced caravan pitches, each with ample space for awnings and a variety of facilities, including car parking, toilets, showers (with a refundable £20 deposit for access keys), laundry facilities, disability access and a children's play area. Pets are welcome on a leash in the camping & touring area and the site has a chemical disposal unit for convenience.
For those seeking a more comfortable experience, Kinnego Marina offers glamping pods. Glamping offers all the fun of camping with added comfort. Two types of pods are available: River Pods, priced at £49 per night, and Island Pods, the newest addition, available for £80 per night. Each pod accommodates up to 4 adults or 2 adults with 2-3 children. The pods are equipped with heating, lighting, a fridge, kettle, mattress pads and outdoor patio furniture with a picnic table. Guests need to bring their own bedding (sleeping bags or blankets, pillows) and cutlery. BBQs are allowed on stands at the picnic table area or on metal trays attached to the benches. Shared shower and toilet facilities, as well as a communal fire pit, are available for all pod guests. Pets are not permitted in the glamping pods. Each pod includes widescreen TV, fridge, kettle, microwave, heating, and beds, making for a cosy stay. A refundable £100 cash security deposit is required upon arrival, following a pre-rental check.
Kinnego Marina is intended for short-term recreational and tourism stays, with a maximum stay of 7 nights. Visitors under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout their stay, ensuring a family-friendly atmosphere.
