Castlerigg Farm Camping and Caravan Site is a small family run Lake District site, with modern facilities for the discerning camper. Situated in a quiet area on the edge of Keswick in Cumbria. Castlerigg Farm Campsite is found at the foot of Walla Crag, with exceptional panoramic views of the surrounding fells, the site looks down towards Derwent Water and in the distance Bassenthwaite Lake.
The site offers campers spectacular panoramic views from the camp field, touring caravan pitches are lower down and do not provide the same views of the lake. The camp field is classed as gently sloping, all hook-up pitches are on grass some units may require levelling blocks.
Hook-up points for caravans or motor homes can be booked in advanced and our site amenities include power showers, heated washrooms, laundry room, shop and café.
The site shop adjoins reception and has its own opening times when the shop is closed shop items cannot be purchased via reception. Small BBQ's are allowed but must be clear of the ground to avoid burning the grass and all BBQ's must be extinguished before 10.30pm and after this time we do have a 'silence rule' that we kindly ask all visitors to adhere to.
