If you're seeking a peaceful retreat away from children and the everyday hustle and bustle, Riverside Tourer Park is the perfect destination. Here, you can unwind along a picturesque riverbank, surrounded by natural wildlife and the serene, uncommercialised beauty of the Cumbrian countryside.
Our adult-only park offers tranquility in a child-free environment, situated at the northern tip of the Lake District National Park, with access to the virtually untouched Northern Fells, ideal for walking and cycling.
Whether you're a Caravan & Motorhome Club member or not, our well-equipped, small but spacious touring park provides the perfect relaxing getaway. The purpose-built entrance offers ample space for easy maneuvering in and out of the site, while all sunny, south-facing hardstanding pitches come with electric hookups. The site is beautifully landscaped with mature privacy hedges and trees.
Our filling and emptying facilities have been thoughtfully designed with practical tweaks to enhance user-friendliness. Loyal guests frequently praise the quality of our facilities, including the motorhome "grey waste" emptying point located near the taps area on the Millrace, available to all site users. TV reception is excellent, and we offer free Wi-Fi throughout the park.
Our unique and warmly received toilets and showers may look unconventional from the outside, but once tried, you'll find them private, cosy and highly practical, likely more user-friendly than those at many small sites. They are equipped with hot and cold water at the basin and shower, a hand dryer, thermostatically controlled heating, automatic lighting with an external occupancy indicator, a swap shop book library, information leaflets, an automated ventilation system, and a wooden-seated low-level WC. Our facilities are kept to a high hygienic standard, providing a clean, warm environment for all our guests.
