Bow Top

Our bow-top caravan is nestled in its own field and offers countryside views. The caravan sleeps 2 and inside there is a traditional extending double bed, a Queen Anne wood-burning stove for those chilly days and an outside decking area with seating and a BBQ for al fresco dining. Showers and toilet facilities plus a wash-up area are just a short distance away from our Bow Top caravan.

Shepherd’s Huts

Escape to the peace and charm of the countryside with a stay in one of our spacious and beautifully presented Shepherd’s Huts, Yan and Tan. Tucked away in a private corner of the campsite, these cosy retreats offer stunning views across open countryside and provide the perfect setting for couples looking to unwind. Each hut comfortably sleeps two adults and features a full-sized double bed, a wood-burning stove with firewood supplied, plus a table, chairs and useful storage space for a comfortable stay. Outside, a gated decking area at the front creates a lovely spot to sit back and enjoy the scenery, and up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome to join you. There is also a dedicated BBQ area for outdoor cooking, while the site’s toilet and shower facilities are just a short walk away, ensuring you have everything you need for a relaxing rural escape.

Glamping Lodge

Our bespoke glamping lodges sleep up to 5 people and offer a quirky getaway. The two pods are surrounded by countryside and come with two separate sleeping quarters, with one containing a full-sized double bed with a luxury memory foam mattress and one with three fold-out single beds. Inside each lodge there is even a BBQ for home-cooking! Outside there is a picnic table, offering a great spot to relax whilst enjoying the views.

Yew Barrow, Hill Top and Bigland View Caravans

We also have three holiday caravans to choose from. All the caravans are spacious and well-equipped to a high standard. They all come with a well-equipped kitchen for home dining, a dining area, comfy bedrooms, modern bathrooms and cosy living area with a TV and DVD player. Outside each there is a decking area to unwind in, ideal for a coffee in the morning sun.

We also offer camping pitches, with toilet and shower facilities available – please enquire for details.

Our site is based in a great location, just south of Grizedale Forest in the heart of the Lake District. We are close to Windermere and Coniston Water and the area has lots of scenic walking routes. The White Hart Inn is a 5-minute walk away and offers a range of great drinks and tasty food. Attractions to visit include:

Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway.
Lakeland Motor Museum.
Go Ape Grizedale.
Castlerigg Stone Circle.
Aira Force Waterfall.
