Only 25 minutes from Bowness and a short distance from Newby Bridge for a refreshing swim in Windermere, it offers an idyllic and secluded setting that feels truly away from it all. Camping
This small, intimate campsite features just 25 pitches, offering a peaceful retreat off the beaten track while still being within a 30-minute walk of a local pub. Half the pitches include electric hook-up and amenities such as WiFi and phone charging points are available. Campfires are allowed and the site is dog-friendly, making it an ideal spot for a cozy getaway.
Yurts
Moss Howe Farm features four 18ft Yurts, each comfortably accommodating six people, providing a serene retreat for families, friends, and couples alike. Poppy and Acorn Yurts are also dog-friendly. Each Yurt offers the option to book exclusive use of a Scandinavian wood-fired hot tub, 1.8m in diameter, perfect for up to six people. Whether with friends, family, or on a romantic getaway, unwind as steam gently swirls under the night sky, a truly memorable way to unwind from everyday life.
The site at Moss Howe Farm offers a range of amenities to enhance your stay, including hot tubs for relaxation, dog-friendly accommodation including yurts and a well-stocked shop with all essentials. Clean toilets and hot showers are conveniently located within a short walk, ensuring comfort during your visit. Laundry facilities for washing and drying, as well as a washing up area equipped with hot water, are also easily accessible, providing convenience for guests throughout their stay.
