The Wellington Inn & Caravan Park in Great Orton is a touring site only 10 minutes from Carlisle. Our small site in Cumbria is situated between the Solway Coast and Lake District National Park.
Our family-run site is set around a great country pub. We have 10 pitches available for caravans and motorhomes, all with hardstanding pitches with electric.
Please note the site does not have a shower or toilet block, so guests must bring their own facilities. Pets are welcome but not in the pub. The pub serves some delicious dishes and offers a large selection of drinks. Lots of family events and activities are held throughout the year at the pub.
We are the perfect base for exploring a range of attractions in the local area, including Hadrian’s wall. The Solway Coast is only 30 minutes away and further afield you can visit lots of attractions, including:
Tullie House Museum.
Carlisle Cathedral.
Carlisle Castle.
Cumbria's Museum of Military Life.
A World in Miniature Museum.
