Low Greenside Farm Camping and Glamping is a quiet, friendly site located just outside Ravenstonedale, at the foot of the Howgill Fells, and just a short drive from the bustling Cumbrian market town of Kirkby Stephen.
Located in the west of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, there is easy access to the Dales, the Lake District, the North Pennines AONB, and the lovely Eden Valley. Great area for walking, pretty villages, and unspoiled market towns. Two lovely pubs close by.
Set on a family sheep farm there are beautiful views over unspoiled countryside all around. Low Greenside offers you 'Camping as it Used to Be', so pitches are set around the edges of a large field with lots of room between, very spacious for even the biggest tents.
Campfires are allowed in the hearths provided and you can buy logs at the farm.
Mainly for tents, there are also 3 hardstanding campervan pitches.
In a separate meadow is a very comfortable fully insulated Yurt for couples or families and a delightful and super private Bell Tent for couples only. Each beautifully appointed glamping unit has private kitchen facilities, bijou compost toilet, and garden with campfire BBQ, picnic table, outdoor chairs, and double hammock – great for star gazing or sheep watching.
Facilities at the campsite are all free of charge and include:
New toilet block with each loo and hand basin in a separate room accessed from the outdoors
Free hot showers in proper bathrooms, including 2 family size shower rooms
Two indoor washing up areas
Sockets for hairdryers, phone charging etc.
Fridge and ice pack freezing
Visitor information and leaflets for local walks

Two friendly village pubs serving very good food and real ales are a pretty 10-15 minute walk from the campsite.
There are several varied and beautiful hill or valley walks from the campsite through lovely countryside. Up to date visitor info is provided on recommended places to walk, eat and visit, countryside events and days out. The campsite can also supply you with their own walks booklet - 'Nine great walks from Low Greenside Farm'.
