Seatoller Farm offers four beautiful yurts located in the village of Grange-in-Borrowdale near Keswick in Cumbria. Our yurts offer you the chance to get close to nature without having to have the hassle of putting up your own tent.
The 6 yurts are can sleep up to four people in total and offer internal frames that are made from ash and oak. There are a range of facilities in the yurts including the following:
Wood burning stoves.
Raised wooden floors.
Fully equipped kitchen.
Games chest.
Comfortable futon beds.
Large skylight.
The fully equipped kitchens have gas hobs, a grill and a range of cooking utensils that you may need.
There are a range of futon style beds including one double and two single. We also provide freshly laundered linen for all beds including cotton sheets, feather pillows and duvets.
Also located onsite are clean toilets, free hot showers and a washing up area.
The beautiful yurts are set on a working farm in some of the most breath taking scenery that The Lake District has to offer. There are a range of activities available in the area including climbing, canoeing, walking, mountain biking and much more. If you are driving you will need to take the B5289, south from Keswick, along the shores of Derwent Water and beyond for approximately 7.5 miles. You will drive past the Scafell Inn at Rosthwaite. Before you are in Seatoller make a left turn for Seathwaite. The yurts are in the campsite field (on the left) immediately after a small bridge only 10m from the junction. You should see them easily from the road.
