Rackery Retreat offers stunning glamping accommodation in Burton near Rossett. Our campsite on the Cheshire/Welsh border is within easy travelling distance of Wrexham and Chester.
Our 3 safari tents are luxurious and fully equipped to suit all your needs. Located on an 8 acre field, our tents enjoy far-reaching views of Cheshire. Two of the tents sleep up to 4 people and one tent sleeps up to 6 people.
The Willow and The Oak both have a king four-poster bed and a double tree house bed. The Beech has a four-poster king bed, one double tree house bed and two single beds. All the tents come with a variety of excellent facilities:
Gas hob.
Fridge.
Kettle.
Toaster.
Dining table.
Sofa area.
Electric sockets.
Shower.
Toilet.
Storage area/can be used for dog beds.
Towels & bedding are provided.
Hot tub.
You can visit a range of attractions while staying with us. You can explore the Roman walls of Chester and enjoy a coffee whilst looking over Chester Racecourse. Chester Zoo is a great family day out and the Blue Planet Aquarium is a particular favourite. Scenic walks can be found at Llangollen, Bala or Snowdonia National Park.
