Upwood Holiday Park is licensed for touring caravans, tents, camping pods, motor caravans, static holiday homes and residential homes. Electric hook-ups, hard standings, seasonal pitches and storage are available for tourers.
Our accommodation boasts panoramic views over the beautiful surrounding countryside. Upwood Holiday Park is pleasantly situated close to the Yorkshire Dales National Park, one mile from the Brontė village Haworth and the Worth Valley steam railway.
We also offer a selection of used holiday caravans and residential units are for sale and hire. There are all fully equipped offering everything you will need for a self-catering holiday.
The pods take away the possible lows of camping! ie You won't get blown away, drown or be at any point cold inside them! They offer an open plan single room extremely well insulated with wall heater, lights and a three-pin electric socket (yes ladies you can fetch your hair straighteners!), outside they have a wooden decking and gravel for cooking on (beware: no bbq's or cooking stoves inside pods/tents at any time). Camp beds available to hire if you require. They come in three sizes, one recommended for a family of three (up to 2 adults and 1 child) one for a family of five (2 adults and 3 small children or 4 adults) and the last one for a family of 5 or above or 5 adults.
We also have three yurts available for hire - please enquire.
The park is gently sloping in nature, tarmac roads with occasional speed bumps give access to most areas. The surrounding countryside is of an open aspect, with rolling hills and uneven footpaths all around.
Located onsite there is an indoor games room that has pool tables and arcade games. There is also an indoor soft play area for younger children. Outside there is an outdoor play area with slides, swings and climbing equipment. Our centrally heated toilet block has showers and laundry. We also have a shop selling sweets, drinks, a small number of groceries and those things you've forgotten to pack. There is also a bar located at the holiday park where there is a range of drinks and food available as well as plenty of comfortable seating.
There are many places to visit in the local area including Malham Cove which is a natural limestone formation. The Cove is a large, curved cliff at the head of the valley and a popular destination for tourists and locals alike.
