Budle Bay Campsite is a charming family-run campsite in Waren Mill near the gorgeous village of Bamburgh, set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on Northumberland’s coast. We are just 200 metres from the mud flats of Budle Bay and operate as a dark sky site, perfect for an unforgettable getaway.
Our scenic site is nestled within a tree-lined valley with a small river flowing alongside us, offering a tranquil setting for a relaxing holiday. We offer pitches for touring caravans, motorhomes, campervans, trailer tents and tents on both grass and hard standing pitches.
Onsite we have a variety of locations for tents, including picturesque riverside pitches on the hills which boast views of the old tower and fields beyond. We also have pitches near the utility block. Fridges and freezers are available for campers. Hard standing and grass pitches are also available for motorhomes/caravans/trailers and most pitches have water nearby. A disposal point on site is available for grey water.
If you don’t fancy the hassle of putting up your own tent, you can stay in one of our fantastic huts, great for families, small groups and couples. Offering that touch of luxury, they are well insulated and come with heaters, interior sedating and a cooking area. Outside there is a private veranda with a picnic table, ideal for a coffee in the morning sun. We also have two bunkhouses which sleeps 12 and 15 people. These are great for youth groups, schools, sports clubs and other organisations.
Onsite facilities include unlimited hot water in the showers, a covered washing-up area and 2 x separate toilet blocks.
Self catering accommodation is also available in our holiday flat in Amble – please enquire for details.
